LSEG Risk Intelligence is a world leader in delivering high-quality risk intelligence data - and the increasing volume and complexity of data required a more scalable and efficient approach to content curation. In a rapidly evolving industry, LSEG’s Risk Intelligence team recognised the need to stay ahead by proactively embracing the latest advancements in Generative AI (GenAI) technology.

The goal was to grow the capacity of the existing team and empower researchers to focus on high-value analysis while ensuring faster, more accurate insights for clients - all without compromising the quality and reliability that their customers expect from LSEG Risk Intelligence.

Solution Overview

LSEG Risk Intelligence has partnered with Mesh-AI and Amazon Web Services (AWS) to develop the AI Content Curation (AICC) platform, a GenAI-driven solution. Leveraging Amazon Bedrock and Anthropic, AICC automates and streamlines the content curation process. By combining a human-in-the-loop approach with GenAI - the process of identifying, enriching and extracting entity data from raw articles is being transformed, paving the way for more updates to World-Check. As we head into 2026, the vision is to embed Agentic AI into the solution to autonomously improve data quality and enhance the solution.

For 25 years, LSEG World-Check has been delivering trusted data to help financial institutions and businesses comply with mandatory KYC, anti-money laundering, counter terrorism financing, bribery and corruption regulations. This integration empowers researchers to focus on high-value tasks, such as expert analysis and complex decision-making, while ensuring scalability and reliability.
